The DDP10EF is a high-speed NVMe shared storage that delivers extreme performance for today’s most demanding creative workflows. Run pre-trained AI models locally to customize M&E content or handle 8K uncompressed media with ease.

The DDP10EF achieves a bandwidth of up to 40 GB/s. This allows one workstation to access with 20 GB/s or more bandwidth while other editors can continue working smoothly.

The DDP10EF is a 1U, 19‘‘ NVMe shared storage server. Protocols which can be used are NVMe-oF/RDMA, iSCSI and SMB. The bandwidth of the system scales approximately linear with the number of NVMe SSDs with RAID5 up to total 40 GB/s on read and up to 24 GB/s on write.

All DDPs are supplied with the A/V FS file system from Ardis Technologies, which was specifically developed for the requirements of M&E applications. A/V FS supports hard links and comes with a unique feature called Project Caching. Both are ideal to organize and use media files with applications like Autodesk Flame, Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and others.

The DDP10EF base system can be combined with external storage arrays via EX card. This configuration not only allows the speed of SSDs to be combined with the more affordable capacity of HDDs, but also enables all the benefits of DDP's Project Caching.

With Project Caching, you can choose the SSD size for Project Caching and hard disk capacity independently in a DDP. For each project, a (sub)folder structure and a cache method for this (sub)folder is created. This way, the cache can be used most efficiently, as only the necessary files are stored there.
