With over 30 years at the intersection of sport, media and telecoms, Matt Stagg is an award-winning creative technologist and a recognised leader in next-generation broadcast and connectivity. He is currently leading strategy and partnerships at Neutral Wireless, a pioneer in private 5G, where he is driving the adoption of cutting-edge connectivity solutions across live production, events and immersive fan experiences.

Alongside his role at Neutral Wireless, Matt is the founder of MTech Sport, where he works with leading broadcasters, rights holders and global technology companies to turn innovation into real-world delivery. His expertise spans product development, cloud and 5G workflows, XR, AI and end-to-end production, always with a focus on commercial impact and audience engagement.

Known for his sleeves-rolled-up approach, Matt doesn’t just advise, he builds, shapes and delivers. He specialises in connecting technology with storytelling, helping organisations rethink how content is created, distributed and experienced in an increasingly direct-to-fan world.

Matt is also a respected industry voice, regularly contributing to leading publications and speaking at major global events. He works closely with startups, accelerators and innovation programmes, helping ambitious ideas scale into meaningful, market-ready solutions.

Ben is Director of Creative Output at Sky Sports and leads the team of directors who work across all of Sky’s award-winning sports coverage. He works with Sky Creative and the Sky Studios team to deliver both the technology and the creative output of Sky Sports, through house styles, on-screen graphics, sets, titles, and talent styling . Previously Ben was Head of Studios at Sky News, and worked at ITN as a director across Channel 5 News, ITV News and Channel 4 News.

Nicola Cogotti is the Founder and CTO of Alpha Cogs, a London-based software company specializing in digital transformation for the Media, Fashion, Luxury, and Motorsport industries.

Holding a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence Applied to Business Management and certified as an AWS AI Practitioner, Nicola blends academic depth with hands-on innovation. Under his leadership, Alpha Cogs has delivered cloud-native solutions for prestigious clients including Kering, Alexander McQueen, Bulgari, Royal Opera House, Telestream, and others.

His strategic direction has also secured key partnerships with AWS, Motorola Solutions, and more. Nicola is currently leading the development of Alpha Cogs’ proprietary platforms tailored for the Motorsport, Fashion, and Media verticals—advancing scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. Recognized by IABM as New Member of the Year, he is committed to fostering technical excellence, strong team culture, and ethical innovation across the broadcast and technology landscape.

IAMT Intelligence Access Program for Journalists

NEW! As part of its evolution to serve the MediaTech ecosystem, IAMT now invites accredited journalists to access and use its research, intelligence and insights when developing news articles.

IAMT’s Business Intelligence Unit (BIU) delivers powerful, data-driven insights and market research that journalists can access through MAI, an agentic AI powered discovery platform.  Plus, IAMT’s knowledge vault encompasses thousands of member-contributed articles, reports, and videos.

Here are the program details:

    • Approved Journalists will receive unique login credentials to access the IAMT online research portal.
    • Journalists can search, select and present IAMT research data to enhance and verify news and editorial relevant to the MediaTech industry.
    • All research statistics, facts and data must be sited exactly as is presented on the IAMT website.
    • All uses must be attributed as “Research Courtesy of theiamt.org” and link to www.theiamt.org if published online.
    • Journalists are required to share the published article with theIAMT.org by emailing a link to marketing@theiamt.org within 10 days of publication.
    • The IAMT will be able to view all participant logins and data pulls and will conduct periodic audits of access vs. uses and shared articles to ensure that data is being properly used and attributed.
    • IAMT reserves the right to change or cancel this program at any time, to decline approval of any applicant and to decline access to registered participants for non-compliance or inappropriate use of data.
    • Journalist are asked to apply online at the link below. Participants are required to provide:
      • Copy of official press credentials
      • Link to 3 articles relevant to MediaTech industry published on an industry B2B news platform within the last 12 months. Articles must include a named byline or be accompanied by information verifying that the applicant developed the article on behalf of the platform.
      • List of industry platforms where content developed will appear.
