Globecast Demonstrates Content Exchange Latest Capabilities at SPORTEL Monaco 2026

Published On: 19 October, 2026

Globecast, a leading provider of media integration and managed services for the sports broadcast industry, will showcase the latest developments in Content Exchange, its media orchestration platform, at SPORTEL 2026 in Monaco from 19-21 October at stand G.05.

Introduced last year, Content Exchange provides a unified and flexible media transport layer orchestrating satellite, fibre, IP and hybrid-cloud workflows through a centralised interface, simplifying the management of increasingly complex content distribution. Through real-time monitoring and automated provisioning, the platform allows content owners and sports rights holders to deliver high-performance, low-latency media at a global scale, anytime, everywhere in the world.

Content Exchange is more than just a transport solution; it is a commercial enabler. Its role-based portal simplifies rights management, regional distribution, and taker provisioning, enabling rights-holders and broadcasters to operate with agility and confidence.

Content Exchange is now a proven, operational solution, deployed across 6 key sport federations. The most recent example is Globecast’s collaboration with motorsport media specialist EMPA, alongside Net Insight, during the 24h Nürburgring endurance race. Leveraging Content Exchange, EMPA successfully managed 45 hours of live coverage and 100 individual streams, with up to four feeds simultaneously contributed to Globecast through SRT.

“Sports distribution now becomes less about selecting one delivery method and more about having the flexibility to choose the right combination for each event. Content Exchange gives rights holders this flexibility by enabling them to bring IP, satellite and fibre together in a way that matches their operational needs, while maintaining the visibility and control required for live sports,” said Steve MacMurray, Head of Digital Media Development at Globecast.

Visitors to SPORTEL Monaco 2026 can also learn more about MooM, Globecast’s recently launched Media Orchestration and Operations Management Platform. MooM replaces fragmented control layers by bringing remote production, playout, media asset management, content preparation, headend and OTT delivery workflows into one unified interface. The platform reflects Globecast’s open, technology-agnostic approach to media transformation by integrating existing infrastructure with hybrid-cloud and software-defined services.
