Introducing Beamy

Developed through the collaboration between Total Media Cast (TMC) and PrimeCast Technical Solutions, Beamy is an ecosystem of holographic and AI-powered solutions designed to enhance audience engagement across broadcasting, exhibitions, retail, events, education, and corporate communications.

The collaboration emerged from a shared vision to develop practical immersive technologies that address real-world challenges in broadcasting, audience engagement, retail experiences, and remote communication.

Powered by Beamy OS, the platform combines holographic displays, live streaming, content management, AI-powered virtual fitting experiences, Digital Human Avatars, and audience engagement applications.

Industry recognition has reflected growing interest in these technologies, with Beamy LifeSize receiving the “Best in Immersive Media” award at the BroadcastPro Manufacturer Awards, acknowledging its contribution to advancing immersive communication and audience engagement technologies. This recognition highlights the industry’s shift from experimental deployments toward wider commercial adoption of immersive communication solutions.

Case Study: Bringing Liverpool into a Doha Television Studio

One of the clearest examples of immersive communication in practice was demonstrated through a collaboration involving TMC, PrimeCast Technical Solutions, and Al Rayan TV in Qatar.

During the television program “AL-MIHJAR” (Where Is Artificial Intelligence Taking Us?), a guest located in Liverpool, United Kingdom, participated live in a broadcast taking place in Doha, Qatar.

Using Beamy Live and Beamy LifeSize technology, the guest appeared as a life-size holographic presence within the studio rather than through a conventional video conferencing display.

For viewers and presenters alike, the interaction felt significantly more natural than a traditional remote interview. The deployment demonstrated how immersive communication technologies can help broadcasters overcome geographical barriers while maintaining audience engagement and production quality.

More importantly, it showed that “remote participation no longer needs to feel remote.”

Lessons Learned

The Liverpool-to-Doha implementation provided several valuable insights for broadcasters and media technology professionals.

First, audiences respond more naturally to life-size visual presence than to traditional video conferencing formats. Second, broadcasters gain greater flexibility when sourcing contributors, experts, and commentators from around the world. Third, successful deployments depend on reliable connectivity, low-latency transmission, and close collaboration between production and technical teams.

Most importantly, the project demonstrated that holographic broadcasting is no longer an experimental concept. It is becoming a practical tool that can be integrated into existing media workflows today.

AI-Powered Virtual Try-On

While holographic communication is transforming broadcasting, artificial intelligence is reshaping customer engagement.

Beamy TryOn enables users to visualize clothing and fashion items in real time through AI-powered virtual fitting technology, creating more engaging and personalized experiences for retail environments, exhibitions, shopping malls, and brand activations.

Using AI-driven image processing and real-time rendering, users can instantly explore products in an interactive way before making purchasing decisions.

Recent demonstrations of Beamy TryOn at industry events, including the Qatar AI Summit, have highlighted growing interest in AI-powered engagement tools that combine personalization, interactivity, and real-time visualization.
