BCE Selects Perfect Memory as MAM Partner for its Media-as-a-Service Offering
Luxembourg, 1st of April 2026 – BCE today announced deployment of Perfect Memory as the Metadata & Asset Management (MAM) solution for its Media-as-a-Service (MaaS) offering. This strategic collaboration strengthens BCE’s MaaS platform by enhancing content governance, metadata management, and the overall valorisation of media assets.
Media-as-a-Service (MaaS) is a modular, cloud-based approach that enables media organizations to access, store, manage, process, and distribute content on demand. By decoupling infrastructure from services, MaaS allows broadcasters, content owners, and media partners to flexibly consume production, asset management, processing, and distribution capabilities as services. This model accelerates time-to-market, optimizes operational efficiency, and enables scalable, agile media workflows tailored to evolving business needs.
As media ecosystems become increasingly complex and data-driven, BCE has chosen Perfect Memory’s advanced MAM technology to structure, manage, and contextualize media content across its MaaS environment. Perfect Memory’s solution will enable improved interoperability, enriched metadata, and seamless access to media assets for all stakeholders within the ecosystem.
“Selecting Perfect Memory aligns perfectly with our vision to deliver a robust, scalable, and value-driven Media-as-a-Service platform,” said Sylvain Merle, Chief Technology Officer at BCE. “Their expertise in semantic metadata management and their ability to transform complex media assets into actionable information are key enablers for the evolution of our MaaS strategy.”
Through this partnership, BCE will benefit from:
- advanced structuring and enrichment of media metadata,
- improved governance and traceability of media assets,
- contextualized and efficient access to content,
- a future‑proof MAM foundation to support the growth of its MaaS offering.
