Consumer Technology Association open standard for HDR (high dynamic range TV) – supporters include LG, Samsung, Sharp, Sony, and Vizio, Microsoft and Sony. It uses Rec. 2020 colour space, Perceptual Quantizer (PQ) curve, 10-bits and static metadata (fixed for the complete programme). Dynamic metadata is being added.
