HLG

Hybrid Log Gamma. A HDR standard that was jointly developed by the BBC and NHK. The HLG standard is royalty-free and compatible with SDR displays. It does not require metadata. It is what is called scene referenced – which means that signal levels represent relative brightness in the scene
