Established in 1976, IAMT is controlled through a Members’ Board which comprises elected and appointed Directors.
The Board is responsible for the overall operation of IAMT and sets, reviews and changes as necessary the policies of the association The members’ board also exercises overall financial control.

Saleha Williams's Bio
Saleha Williams brings a wealth of global experience and a proven track record in the media technology industry. Across her 30+ year career, she has spearheaded profitable growth and elevated market positioning for entities, including BBC, Google, WPP, Cognizant, Cisco, Siemens, BT, UK Gov, the Olympics, and media and entertainment clients from Hollywood, Bollywood and everywhere in between. As a passionate technology ESG advocate, she also serves as a non-executive Director at WCMC – the United Nations Environmental Programme World Conservation Monitoring Centre (UNEP-WCMC).

Lucinda Meek's Bio
Lucinda is IABM’s Chief Finance and Operations Officer and was appointed an Executive Director in 2014. She is also Chair of IABM Investments Limited. Lucinda is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with a wealth of experience in running SMEs and associations, and auditing companies of all sizes. She has worked in the broadcast industry for 18 years.
During her tenure with IABM, Lucinda has ensured the Association’s sound financial footing alongside managing and maintaining the smooth running of all day-to-day operations. She has also been a champion of extending its reach and influence with the formation and running of Regional Members’ Councils, transforming the Association into the truly international body it is today. Lucinda has also played a central role in developing and implementing all IABM strategies, as well as representing and helping our members in an ever-changing MediaTech landscape.

Ajey Anand's Bio
Ajey Anand is the CEO & co-founder of Norigin Media, the Scandinavian TV Tech & OTT solutions company. He has served as Chief Executive Officer since 2015 and has worked with Broadcasters and Operators for nearly 2 decades.
Through his time developing streaming services, he became passionate about TV Apps & UI/UX technologies and their implementation to create the highest quality OTT experiences – which we all know can be timely, costly, and resource intensive.
He has led several projects across Europe and the Americas and is responsible for Norigin´s international expansions and customer acquisitions with Broadcasters and Pay-TV Operators such as Deutsche Telekom, France Telecom (Orange), Vevo Music, Nextel, Telefonica, MTV, Telenor, Eurosports, etc. He started his career with NewsCorp in Asia and is now based in Oslo, Norway, the headquarters of Norigin Media.

Andreas Hilmer's Bio
Andreas is Director Marketing and Communications at Lawo and has been in the broadcast industry since 2004, when he started in the same position for Riedel Communications. He was instrumental in founding MNA and AIMS, where he is serving as member of the board since then. In his roles at both broadcast manufacturers and industry organizations, Andreas has shown his ability for providing strategic guidance based on a holistic point of view and proven his commitment to serve on behalf of the broadcast industry.

Jade Kurian's Bio
Jade Kurian is co-founder and President of latakoo, a Texas based video workflow solutions technology company. She is expert in cloud-based broadcast workflow solutions.
Jade’s 20-year broadcast career has included working as a reporter, producer, editor and anchor. As bureau chief for a network operation, she was responsible for managing staff, troubleshooting logistical/technical challenges and coordinating crews.
As latakoo President, Jade aligns these crucial skills with innovative technology to create an evolutionary video platform offering fast, secure, easy, bi-directional video transfers between field crews and in-studio asset managers. latakoo services are used by the world’s largest broadcasters.

Chris Lennon's Bio
I have been a key member of the vendor community for over 30 years now, with IABM members Harris Corporation, MediAnswers, and now Ross Video. I have a strong belief in the mission of the IABM and its importance within the industry.
The breadth of my experience, across many different parts of the media ecosystem, should bring strength to the Board. In addition to boxes with blinky lights, I bring a strong background in the software side of media, from my many years of leading development of software-oriented products for this business, to leading one of the premier media tech consulting firms for the past eight years, to being the leader of the Open Services Alliance. I have always been considered a balance between technologist and business focused participant.
I am a longtime member of the SMPTE Board of Directors, as well as serving on other Boards, so have a good understanding and appreciation for the functioning of these types of organizations. I look forward to providing a new perspective to the IABM Board.

Anna Lockwood's Bio
Anna Lockwood is an experienced media industry executive and is currently the Head of Global Sales at Telstra Broadcast Services, based in London. Anna has had previous international leadership roles in Singapore, Boston, and Sydney. In addition to her role at Telstra, Anna represents Telstra as a Director on the IABM Board, and is a Board Member of EGAA (Esports Games Association of Australia). She brings her interests in innovation, sports, and women in technology to her role at Telstra and her board and industry engagement.

Steph Lone's Bio
Steph Lone joined AWS as Global Director of M&E Solutions Architecture in February 2022 with over 25 years of experience leading digital teams and transformation efforts in various roles at ViacomCBS. In her most recent role as SVP of Engineering at CBS Sports Digital, she led the technology teams and technical aspects for all digital platforms for CBSSports.com, CBS Sports HQ, CBS Sports Fantasy, 247Sports, MaxPreps, and SportsLine. Steph has managed CBS Sports’ record-breaking digital live streams for several marquee events, including Super Bowl LV, Super Bowl LIII and Super Bowl 50. Prior to this role, as part of CBS Interactive, she previously ran multiple central technology teams over the course of 8 years including the teams responsible for the advertising & order management systems, data warehousing, CRM systems & digital video. Steph holds a BA in Multidisciplinary Studies from North Carolina State University (Go Wolfpack!) and lives in Fort Lauderdale, FL with her husband, Bill and 2 boys, AJ and Patrick.

David Phillips's Bio
For over 30 years since starting out as an operational engineer at ITV (in the UK), David Phillips has held a variety of technical, sales and management roles, together with numerous Board-level appointments for prominent broadcast businesses. These include Panasonic, Philips BTS and Thomson Grass Valley, before joining TSL as CEO. Since then, he established his own company, MultiCast. As well as an extensive network of industry contacts, he brings with him a proven track record of growing businesses and has specialised in systems integration. Working for the independent company MultiCast means that he has an objective and comprehensive view of current client requirements and technology trends in the broadcast and media sector. David has previously served on the IABM Members’ Board contributing to the IABM’s earlier development and now is in his second recent term. He has a clear understanding of the objectives and challenges the IABM faces as a leading trade association representing its members and providing a service to the industry. David is a Chartered Engineer, Fellow of the IET, Member of the RTS and has a degree in Electronic Engineering. 
Sony
Peter Sykes's Bio
Peter Sykes has worked in the media technology sector for over 35 years. In his 30 plus years at Sony, he has helped technical and creative media professionals migrate to next-generation technologies for factual, drama, music, sports, nature, live entertainment and news production.
As Strategic Technology Development Manager, he is currently involved in the introduction of key technologies for media workflows, including cloud, IP, 5G, Ultra HD and HDR.
Peter led the team that created Sony’s Digital Media Production Centre, located at Pinewood Studios in the UK. He also represents Sony within a number of industry associations including on the IABM Members’ Board where he has served since 2015.

Red Bee
Tom Wootton's Bio
With a background in linguistics and literature, Tom started out in accessibility for broadcast television. Over the last twenty years, he has moved from an operational and training focus, to leading the development of new, cloud and automation based approaches to accessibility. Over the last five years, he has been involved in Product Management for these services, expanding his responsibilities to Head of Product for Red Bee’s Broadcast Services (playout, media management and MCR). He is now Head of Red Bee Access Services, as well as heading up Solution strategy across Red Bee.

Neave Spikings's Bio
Neave joined dB Broadcast in 2022 and regularly leads technology design and solution architecture across projects, consultancy, and proposals within the media technology industry. Her work spans from archive and traditional broadcast systems to ST2110 IP infrastructure and software-defined solutions. In 2021, Neave won Rise’s international Rising Star award for women who are considered stand-out performers, innovators, and emerging leaders in the broadcast & media industry. Beyond her professional work, Neave is an active supporter of the wider community, volunteering as a mentor, speaking on panels, and supporting workshops and student events to inspire and encourage careers in media technology.

Principal & President, Applied Electronics
Paul Stechly (Chair)'s Bio
Paul Stechly is a graduate of the University of Waterloo and completed post graduate work at the University of Western Ontario. Paul joined Applied Electronics in 1983 when he founded and ran the Audio Visual Systems Division, until assuming the President’s role in 1998. He holds three Canadian and U.S. Patents for display systems and is currently the Principal & President and an owner of Applied Electronics Limited, which has offices across Canada. Now in his 35th year in the broadcast and media industry, Paul is well known to a large number of broadcast manufacturers, which will prove invaluable in his role as Chairman of the IABM Americas Members’ Council. Paul has also been extensively involved in the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers and is a SMPTE Fellow as well as having served for six years as a board vice president. He has been involved in a wide variety of committees, chairing several.

Thomas Gunkel (Chair)'s Bio
Thomas Gunkel is Global Market Director Broadcast for Skyline Communications and is responsible for the broadcast customers within the company. With more than 15 years of experience in product marketing, solution design and engineering of broadcast and video solutions for broadcasters, network providers and service providers, he joined Skyline Communications in April 2017.
Previously he has held several technical and sales positions at Imagine Communications, Harris Broadcast and EVS. Thomas holds a master’s degree in media technology from the Stuttgart Technology University of Applied Sciences.

Judy Zuo's Bio
Judy Zuo boasts 20 years of experience in global trade, most recently serving as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Kiloview, a leading hardware manufacturer and software developer in the AV over IP industry.
With a solid foundation in International Economics and Trade complemented by an MBA, Judy is renowned for her multitasking abilities, problem-solving acumen, and visionary leadership, consistently driving towards surpassing sales & marketing objectives.

Sumit Suri (Chair)'s Bio
Sumit is a broadcast television veteran and founder member of U-TO. He leads U-TO’s technology and strategy frontiers, which include product roadmap, international sales, operations, and enterprise account management. With more than two decades of experience in media and broadcast business, he has been a key driving force in U-TO’s success story. His exceptional ability to translate business challenges into software solutions has won him several accolades in the industry. Sumit’s key strength is his in-depth domain expertise and innovative approach to solutions. He has also served as a core committee member at TiE for Media & Entertainment.

Alain Polgar (Chair)'s Bio
Alain Polgar, founded mediaSTRAT to support companies in the Broadcast Media industry at both strategic and operational level in their digital business transformation and international growth in new B2B2X markets. His customers range from multinational groups to start-ups.
Alain has 30 years’ industry experience and has held senior international sales and business development positions at companies like Red Bee Media / Ericsson, Rohde & Schwarz DVS, Ascent Media, Pinnacle Systems and Thomson. He is connected globally to a major part of the eco system ranging from content providers, broadcasters, operators, VOD services, technology vendors, production and post production companies as well as systems integrators.

Keith Adams's Bio
Keith Adams serves as Senior Manager, Global Marketing for GatesAir, responsible for strategy and deployment of the company’s brand messaging, ad media, digital outreach, lead generation, channels support, event marketing, and public relations management. Based at the company’s headquarters in Mason, Ohio, Adams has over 30 years of professional experience and leadership in marketing, sales, media development, consulting, business administration, systems development, design, photography, videography, CGI, and audio engineering. Prior to joining GatesAir in 2014, he was the principal of FluidMedia LLC, an ad media design/development firm that he co-founded in 2001. He has been a web and media professional since 1994, with prior positions at the U.S. EPA, SGS, and more. Adams holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems Analysis from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

David Alexander's Bio
Working in the Broadcast and post-production markets for over 30 years, David Alexander has an extensive background and understanding of the industry. As an experienced international sales and marketing professional with a strong track record of delivering results, David has a comprehensive range of leadership qualities proven in many complex and challenging situations across different business cultures within the EMEA, US, Latin American and Asian markets.
Defining and shaping target driven sales & marketing strategies with a focus on direct and channel sales, new business development and key account management, coupled with building company vision and enhanced profile, determining and implementing core competencies, values and long term company-wide objectives, are some of his key strengths. As the Commercial Director for the past nine years at Brainstorm Multimedia, a recognised global leader in the field of on-air graphics, AR and virtual studio solutions, David has built the company’s Sales & Marketing Department from small beginnings to its current extensive capabilities and reach, spanning multiple international markets managed through a network of regional offices and channel sales partners.
Building long term 3rd party relationships between Brainstorm and other industry players as well as developing OEM partnerships, is another of David’s skills necessary for the continued success of the company.
At Brainstorm, he has capitalised on his previous widespread experiences working for a number of other companies, notably Quantel where he established and managed the company’s Madrid-based subsidiary, extensively growing the business and expanding the remit to encompass all of the Southern European and Latin American markets including overseeing other Quantel subsidiaries.

Andrew’s speciality is the Sales and Marketing of technical communications products, with a focus on developing international brands and sales networks. He has over 18 years’ experience in the Satcoms industry and has been responsible for growing ETL by 15% every year.
Andrew leads the Sales Team globally, with offices in the UK, USA and Dubai. He is both an advocate of bringing new talent into engineering, as well as promoting the benefits of Satellite connectivity to commercial and government customers.

Jochen Bauer's Bio
Jochen Bauer is Marketing Director at German KVM manufacturer Guntermann & Drunck GmbH. As solutions provider for IT infrastructure the company has grown into the Broadcast for more than 30 years now. With the shift to more and more IT centric broadcasting KVM systems have become invaluable for a flexible and reliable operation.
With a background in IT and marketing, Jochen has been working in different industries and also looks after global business development for G&D. Jochen is looking forward to yield his skills into the activities of the IABM EMEA Council.

Sergio Ammirata Ph.D's Bio
Sergio Ammirata, Ph.D., founder and Chief Scientist at SipRadius and RIST Forum Director, earned his Ph.D. in Physics from The Ohio State University. He developed the patented Dozer protocol, which became the foundation for the libRIST open-source library, now integral to multimedia platforms like VLC and FFmpeg. Joining the Video Services Forum (VSF) in 2018, Sergio has been a key contributor to the Reliable Internet Stream Transport (RIST) protocol, helping define industry standards for secure and reliable media transport. A recipient of the 2018 Technical Emmy® Award, he continues to drive innovation in both open-source and proprietary communication technologies. At SipRadius, Sergio leads the development of cutting-edge solutions for secure, low-latency media transport, addressing the evolving needs of the broadcast and media sectors through scalable and innovative products.

Holding a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence Applied to Business Management and certified as an AWS AI Practitioner, Nicola blends academic depth with hands-on innovation. I started out as an engineer having a City and Guilds IEEE, and Btec diploma in Electronics, moved in to sales with Screen Subtitling and later with Oxtel, before being acquired by Miranda Technologies. I spent 13 years at Miranda Technologies, more recently spent time with smaller start-ups and Cloud enabled platform providers, I have continued to work in the M&E industry for a number of years.

Jutta Schönhaar's Bio
Jutta Schönhaar is a Managing Director and Co-Founder of x-dream-distribution GmbH, a company focused on the innovative software products for the media industry.
Jutta is responsible for building sales channels for the manufacturers from the company’s product line and for grooming x-dream-distribution’s resellers, distributors and system integrators network. In addition, she acquires modern and innovative products to the company portfolio.
Jutta knows the current market situation and understands the needs of x-dream-distribution customers. Jutta Schoenhaar started her career in an international trading company and learned the distribution business from the ground up. Other stations were in e-commerce and HR consulting.
Today, Jutta is a specialist in the development of distribution channels, active sale support and project execution. In particular, she wants to find the best solution for our customers. Above all, it is important to her to create a honest and fair work basis and to be open in dealing with everyone involved.

Joyce Bente's Bio
Joyce Bente brings more than 30 years of experience in the broadcast industry to her role at Riedel, where she leads the company’s strategy and operations in the fast-growing North and Central American markets. Over her career, she has provided strategic business development guidance for some of the world’s largest and most successful companies.
Bente joined Riedel in 2015 from leading broadcast rental company Bexel, where she served for more than a decade in several sales management roles. At Bexel, she revitalized the branding of the company’s 20-year-old sales division with a focus on increasing market share and developing new vendor relationships. She also was instrumental in establishing a wide portfolio of top-tier clients, including high-profile worldwide sports broadcasters and reality-show production companies. Prior to Bexel, Bente was vice president of sales with Band Pro Film & Digital, a provider of professional digital cameras, accessories, and workflow solutions. Early in her career, she headed up a branch office for Vinten Broadcast Equipment, a multimillion-dollar broadcast camera support manufacturer.

Damon Neale 's Bio
Damon is the CEO of the award-winning IABM Gold Member AI company: Metadat-AI and is a member of the IABM UK Council. He has 15+ years of experience designing and building cloud and workflow solutions while leading major international technology change programmes for large organisations, including Banijay, the BBC and Sony.
He has been building successful AI solutions as the CTO of several AI companies since 2014 and wrote the IABM’s most successful course: “An Introduction to AI” and speaks about AI at international conferences. Realising the importance for AI, he qualified as a Solicitor to both advise clients and ensure the solutions he builds are compliant.

Remi Beaudouin's Bio
Remi Beaudouin is Chief Strategy Officer at ATEME, where he leads the company’s global strategic and marketing initiatives. In this role, Remi helps develop key partnerships and expand ATEME’s portfolio of video-delivery solutions based on technology and business innovations.
Remi has accumulated over 15 years’ experience in the TV & content business at ATEME, Envivio and Thales. He gained a master’s degree in signal processing from ENSEIRB, Bordeaux, and a LEAD Corporate Innovation Certificate from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Ole Clausen's Bio
A graduate of Copenhagen Business School, Ole Clausen is the personification of the successful serial entrepreneur. After graduating in 1972, Clausen took his first job with the Berg & Larsen shipping company. In the same year, he set up his first company, CCTV-Corporation A/S, which provided entertainment equipment to the shipping industry as well as CCTV systems.
In 1981, Clausen then established the Danmon Group and set about building it out across the Nordic region throughout the 1980s. This was clearly not enough of a challenge on its own – in 1982, Clausen established Walport Scandinavia ApS, making and selling maritime training films, and in 1986 he also built a hotel in Copenhagen.

Paul is a 30+ year veteran in the Australian Broadcasting industry. Starting off at Channel 7 in Sydney in the early 80s with a career in Engineering spanning 15 years. He left to expand his personal development and pursued a career in Sales and Marketing.
For the next 16 years Paul moved through the ranks at Sony to head up live production marketing for Sony Broadcast Asia Pacific. In this role, he represented Sony Broadcast throughout the Asia Pacific region including as representative to the Asian Broadcasting Union (ABU).

John Sparrow's Bio
John Sparrow has specialised in production intercom and talkback solutions since joining Drake Electronics in 1989, when talkback was all analogue audio and TTL logic. After a spell as field service engineer at Drake, John moved to the proposals and the sales divisions, ending up responsible for UK and Southern Europe sales development. 10 years later John was approached by Trilogy Broadcast to join them as they were developing their first matrix based intercom system.
He continued to use his expertise to work with customers with a technical and applications focus, and was involved when Trilogy (now called Trilogy Communications Ltd) launched the world’s first IP based intercom system in the year 2000.
The IP world is now impacting on Trilogy’s other product line, video and audio sync and test pulse generators via the need to generate precision time protocol, leading to an expansion of John’s knowledge. Trilogy was acquired in 2016 by Clear-Com, and John’s role has now evolved into supporting the EMEA team as Senior Systems Consultant for both brand lines.
John’s role includes training and support for the Clear-Com partners and RSM’s, as well as supporting the commercial aspects of Intercom applications and SPG’s for modern broadcast installations. In his spare time John supports his local community radio station as an engineer, presenter and vice chairman, as well as running the live OB events for the station.
As you can guess, many of these events use IP as a link between sites, utilising John’s experience with live IP communications in a real world scenario. If there is any other spare time John enjoys riding his motorcycles and tinkering with mechanical projects.
