Cerberus Tech Introduces Livelink Studio for Broadcast-Grade Live Production on Demand

Complete cloud production and master control environment lets teams build a production once and launch it any time, at any scale, in a pay-as-you-go model

SOUTHAMPTON, England — Oct. 15, 2026 — Cerberus Tech today introduced Livelink Studio, an integrated cloud production and master control environment that delivers redundant, broadcast-grade live production engines just how and when they’re needed, enabling broadcasters, rights holders, and production companies to bring more live events to more audiences and markets. Use cases include tailoring world feeds for international markets, applying data-driven graphics in multiple languages, launching event-based channels, standing up disaster-recovery playout and cloud overflow for existing facilities, and elevating everyday productions without adding complexity.

“Extending proven provisioning, orchestration, and automation into the realm of live production, Livelink Studio makes reliable, broadcast-grade production practical for all the sports, events, and channels that don’t need a flagship-scale system,” said Chris Clarke, CRO and co-founder at Cerberus Tech. “Provisioning builds each production the same way every time, with template-based configuration improving both accuracy and time to air. Orchestration ties together all the systems behind a live production so they work as one. And automation does the heavy lifting in the background. The result: Broadcasters can do more with less.”

Built on the Livelink control plane for live broadcast and the Matrox ORIGIN asynchronous media framework, Livelink Studio provides intuitive control surfaces for broadcast-quality production engines with frame-accurate switching, audio-video synchronisation, low latency, uncompressed transport, and built-in scalability and redundancy. Rather than keep production hardware on standby, stitch together separate tools for every event, or build an entire orchestration platform of their own, broadcasters can employ Livelink Studio to launch a complete production on demand, shut it down cleanly when the show ends, and rapidly re-launch that same production for subsequent live events — all within a pay-as-you-go model.

“Cerberus Tech has brought together the production tools, orchestration, and operator controls that broadcasters need to make on-demand live production practical,” said Daniel Robinson, product manager at Matrox Video. “We’re pleased that Matrox ORIGIN provides the media processing foundation for Livelink Studio, supporting Cerberus Tech’s vision of production resources that can scale with each event.”

Switching, audio, and graphics are handled natively within Livelink Studio control surfaces. Live programme and preview monitoring come with cut, auto, mix, dip, and wipe transition controls; audio includes native mixing, per-channel fader control, VU metering, full digital signal processing, and lip-sync adjustment; and graphics support overlays, lower thirds, tickers, and downstream keying, with automation that can pull live data feeds directly into on-air graphics. These tools can be run by one operator from a single screen or split across team members — working remotely or on site — with dedicated views and controls for different roles. Full API control and support for external panels let operators work the way they prefer.

Around that core, Livelink Studio adds vital elements including an integrated multiviewer, a media library with local and Amazon S3 storage, and recording, routing, salvos, test signal generation, and project format management for day-to-day operation; real-time SRT telemetry, stream diagnostics, and Grafana integration for visibility into every feed; and operator control locking and guarded deletion to protect against accidental on-air disruption. Native Livelink and SRT ingest come with automated workflow provisioning, and support for NDI inputs means Livelink Studio fits into existing workflows instead of replacing them.

Livelink Studio can run as a stand-alone module or alongside contribution and distribution as a seamless part of a broader Livelink implementation. Sources can come in directly through Livelink, and programme output can flow back into Livelink for transport, repackaging, scheduling, and distribution to every taker. For resilience, linked A and B instances of Livelink Studio run simultaneously with failover and independent control, and Livelink can feed both from a single source to protect the production itself.
