DigiBox announces partnership with FOR-A for UK and Europe for MixBoard product range

Published On: 6 October, 2026

DigiBox has announced a new partnership with FOR-A to represent the innovative MixBoard® product range in the UK market, further expanding its portfolio of broadcast and live production solutions.

FOR-A MixBoard

Provided by FOR-A and powered by ClassX, MixBoard is a software-defined production switcher designed to meet the evolving requirements of broadcast, live events, corporate production, education and streaming environments. Combining powerful switching, compositing and graphics capabilities within a flexible software platform, MixBoard enables users to build sophisticated productions while reducing the complexity and hardware footprint of traditional workflows.

What makes MixBoard particularly compelling is its flexibility of control. Experienced vision mixers can operate the system using dedicated hardware control panels, retaining the tactile response and familiar workflows developed through years of live production experience. At the same time, MixBoard embraces a new generation of content creators and producers who are accustomed to working with touchscreens, software interfaces and cloud-based tools.

Through its intuitive touchscreen interface, users can interact directly with sources, graphics, transitions and production elements in a way that feels natural and immediate. This unique approach allows traditional broadcast operators and digital-native producers to work comfortably within the same production environment, using the control methods that best suit their skills and preferences.

DigiBox first introduced MixBoard to UK customers at this year’s Media Production & Technology Show (MPTS), where the solution attracted significant interest from broadcasters, production companies and content creators looking for more agile and scalable production workflows.

“Many of today’s production professionals have grown up using touchscreen devices and software-driven creative tools as part of their everyday workflow,” said Scott Noble, Sales Manager at DigiBox. “MixBoard reflects that evolution by offering a highly intuitive touchscreen experience alongside traditional hardware control. It gives organisations the flexibility to support different operating styles while maintaining the professional performance required for live production.”

“We are excited to be partnering with DigiBox to expand the reach of MixBoard in the UK market,” said Fabio Varolo, Sales Manager, FOR-A UK & Europe. “The broadcast and content production landscape continues to evolve rapidly, with users demanding greater flexibility, scalability and ease of operation. MixBoard has been designed to meet those needs by combining powerful production capabilities with a choice of control methods that support both traditional broadcast professionals and modern content creators. DigiBox’s expertise and strong customer relationships make them an ideal partner and I’m looking forward to working with Scott and his team.”

The addition of MixBoard further strengthens DigiBox’s offering in the rapidly growing area of software-defined and IP-based production technologies, enabling customers to build highly flexible workflows for broadcast, live events, education, enterprise and corporate communications.
