Mason Woodford

I’m a TV Production graduate from Solent University, where I achieved a First Class Honours degree. I’m passionate about TV, film, live events and everything that goes into making a production come together. I particularly enjoy working in camera and production roles, but I’m always keen to learn new skills and get involved wherever I can.

I’ve gained hands-on experience across a range of productions, including working as part of the DOCO team at Glastonbury 2025, where I produced and filmed events for the BBC, as well as assisting the OB crew with camera operating and PTZ. I’ve also worked as a videographer at Camp Bestival, filming across the site and working with personalities including Josie Gibson, Rick Astley and Mr Tumble. Alongside this, I currently work as a Social Media Assistant and Video Specialist, creating people-focused video content and social media campaigns.

I’m now looking to build on my experience, meet people within the industry and find opportunities where I can continue developing my skills. I’m reliable, hardworking and enjoy being part of a team, and I’m always happy to get stuck in and take on new challenges.

Social Media Assistant / Video Specialist, Platinum Facilities — Apr 2026–Present — Creating people-focused video content and social media posts across the business, including planned campaigns for events such as World FM Day.

Client Support, Wates — Dec 2025–Apr 2026 — Coordinated PPMs and reactive maintenance for Enfield Council sites, prepared quotations, worked directly with the client and ensured reactive works were completed within SLA.

Producer / Camera Operator, Glastonbury Festival — 2025 — Produced and filmed events across the festival site for the BBC as part of the DOCO team, including the opening of the gates and opening ceremony; assisted the OB crew with camera operation and PTZ.

Videographer, Camp Bestival Shropshire — Aug 2024 — Captured events across the festival site and worked with personalities including Josie Gibson, Hacker T. Dog, Mr Tumble and Rick Astley.

Camera Operator, Solent Kestrels Basketball — 2024–2025 — Operated courtside, roaming and match cameras for live basketball coverage.

President, Solent Video Games Society — 2024–2025 — Managed society finances, events and day-to-day activities; organised a professional-style charity stream that raised around £250.

Documentary Production, Solent University — 2022–2025 — Created documentaries focused on mental health, working with charities and the NHS to raise awareness.

Helpdesk Administrator, UBS — Aug 2024–Oct 2025 — Coordinated engineers and schedules for nationwide Nike and LEGO contracts while managing administrative duties alongside university studies.
