Judging
Judging will be based on the perceived industry impact within the chosen category in terms of end user benefit, value for money, innovation, implementation, performance or new opportunities created. In the case of personal awards, on the individual achievements over the previous 12 months (or beyond if noted).
Product updates are eligible for consideration if there is, in the view of the judges, sufficient added capability and transformation beyond the previous version. The nature of the new capabilities must be highlighted in the application.
Judges may allocate entries to different categories if in their opinion they are wrongly assigned.
A shortlist of entries will be drawn up and judged by an independent panel of specialists prior to the show. For the shortlisted companies, it may be necessary for the judges to visit the company exhibition stand during the show for a demonstration or further clarification. Products or services entered but not presented at the exhibition will be automatically disqualified.
The decisions of IAMT and the judges are final.
Intellectual Property
Preference will be given to those entries that are primarily the sole development of the company entering the application. If significant underlying development is the work of other parties, then these other parties must be identified and the relationship indicated and described.
In the event, that in the judges' opinion, significant contribution has been made by other party(s) and not declared, then the judges retain the right to recognise this fact and make a joint award or to not make an award.
