GSOC Enters New Era of Mission Readiness with Deployment of Amino H200 Devices
The German Space Operations Center (GSOC), one of Europe’s most advanced mission control institutions, has selected Amino’s H200 enterprise media players to enhance its around-the-clock support of spaceflight operations.
GSOC, part of the German Aerospace Center (DLR), is responsible for 24/7 monitoring of the Columbus module aboard the International Space Station, in addition to supporting a wide range of Earth observation and technology demonstration missions. As the scope and complexity of these missions continue to grow, so do the demands on infrastructure reliability, integration, and scalability.
For over 15 years, GSOC has relied on Amino’s media technology to maintain continuous operations. The introduction of Amino’s next-generation H200 devices marks a significant step forward in performance, security, and future readiness.
“With the introduction of the Amino H200, DLR’s German Space Operations Center enters a new stage of capability and readiness,” said the GSOC Operations Team. “The system’s performance and seamless integration enhance our ability to manage increasingly complex missions and prepare for the future. Over the years Amino has proven to be a reliable and innovative supplier, and the H200 continues to reflect these qualities.”
Meeting the Demands of Space-Grade Operations
The H200 is designed for mission-critical environments that require secure, high-performance, and non-stop reliability, making it well-suited for GSOC’s “air-gapped” IP network deployments. Benefits include:
- 24/7 Reliability: Engineered for carrier-grade uptime and stability.
- Seamless Integration: Rich interfaces and tooling ensure smooth alignment with existing mission control infrastructure.
- Scalable Architecture: Designed to support evolving operational requirements with regular firmware updates and future-focused features.
- Operational Efficiency: Simplified management reduces risk and workload for operations teams.
