Thomas Gunkel is Global Market Director Broadcast for Skyline Communications and is responsible for the broadcast customers within the company. With more than 15 years of experience in product marketing, solution design and engineering of broadcast and video solutions for broadcasters, network providers and service providers, he joined Skyline Communications in April 2017.

Previously he has held several technical and sales positions at Imagine Communications, Harris Broadcast and EVS. Thomas holds a master’s degree in media technology from the Stuttgart Technology University of Applied Sciences.

Working in the Broadcast and post-production markets for over 30 years, David Alexander has an extensive background and understanding of the industry. As an experienced international sales and marketing professional with a strong track record of delivering results, David has a comprehensive range of leadership qualities proven in many complex and challenging situations across different business cultures within the EMEA, US, Latin American and Asian markets.

Defining and shaping target driven sales & marketing strategies with a focus on direct and channel sales, new business development and key account management, coupled with building company vision and enhanced profile, determining and implementing core competencies, values and long term company-wide objectives, are some of his key strengths. As the Commercial Director for the past nine years at Brainstorm Multimedia, a recognised global leader in the field of on-air graphics, AR and virtual studio solutions, David has built the company’s Sales & Marketing Department from small beginnings to its current extensive capabilities and reach, spanning multiple international markets managed through a network of regional offices and channel sales partners.

Building long term 3rd party relationships between Brainstorm and other industry players as well as developing OEM partnerships, is another of David’s skills necessary for the continued success of the company.

At Brainstorm, he has capitalised on his previous widespread experiences working for a number of other companies, notably Quantel where he established and managed the company’s Madrid-based subsidiary, extensively growing the business and expanding the remit to encompass all of the Southern European and Latin American markets including overseeing other Quantel subsidiaries.

Above all, David’s easy going character and natural inter-personal skills have enabled him to develop an extensive and wide range of business contacts with clients and other manufacturers alike, many of which have turned into enduring friendships, and these attributes have been key to his success in our industry.

Ajey Anand is the CEO & co-founder of Norigin Media, the Scandinavian TV Tech & OTT solutions company. He has served as Chief Executive Officer since 2015 and has worked with Broadcasters and Operators for nearly 2 decades.

Through his time developing streaming services, he became passionate about TV Apps & UI/UX technologies and their implementation to create the highest quality OTT experiences – which we all know can be timely, costly, and resource intensive.

He has led several projects across Europe and the Americas and is responsible for Norigin´s international expansions and customer acquisitions with Broadcasters and Pay-TV Operators such as Deutsche Telekom, France Telecom (Orange), Vevo Music, Nextel, Telefonica, MTV, Telenor, Eurosports, etc. He started his career with NewsCorp in Asia and is now based in Oslo, Norway, the headquarters of Norigin Media.

Remi Beaudouin is Chief Strategy Officer at ATEME, where he leads the company’s global strategic and marketing initiatives. In this role, Remi helps develop key partnerships and expand ATEME’s portfolio of video-delivery solutions based on technology and business innovations.

Remi has accumulated over 15 years’ experience in the TV & content business at ATEME, Envivio and Thales. He gained a master’s degree in signal processing from ENSEIRB, Bordeaux, and a LEAD Corporate Innovation Certificate from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

A graduate of Copenhagen Business School, Ole Clausen is the personification of the successful serial entrepreneur. After graduating in 1972, Clausen took his first job with the Berg & Larsen shipping company. In the same year, he set up his first company, CCTV-Corporation A/S, which provided entertainment equipment to the shipping industry as well as CCTV systems.

In 1981, Clausen then established the Danmon Group and set about building it out across the Nordic region throughout the 1980s. This was clearly not enough of a challenge on its own – in 1982, Clausen established Walport Scandinavia ApS, making and selling maritime training films, and in 1986 he also built a hotel in Copenhagen.

In the 1990s, Clausen led Danmon Group into Nordic partnerships with Avid and Philips BTS. He has since has led a series of acquisitions, including Soundware/New Music A/S and NTP Technology A/S, plus ATG in the UK and Hiltron in Germany.

Since 2012, he has also established Danmon Asia, Datos-Danmon Media Technology and Vantec Danmon Technology. Clausen also served on the Board of the Amagerbanken bank between 2002 and 2009, and in 2014, was elected to the Board of the prestigious Royal Copenhagen Shooting Society.

Franck is a co-founder and CEO of Hexaglobe, an IT and telecommunications company providing solutions for broadcasters and media companies worldwide. Passionate about new technologies and their potential to transform the way we consume media, he started the company soon after his graduation and set out to help the industry seize all opportunities arising from the changes he observed.

In particular, he saw broadcast, OTT and mobile as complementary channels that can work together to increase their impact on audiences. Over 14 years, Hexaglobe has been working for top broadcasters in France and abroad, proudly contributing to the creation of their unique transmedia experiences.

Julián has been working in computer-related companies for 25 years. With a degree in Computer Science Engineer at the University of Málaga and a strong IT and Software Development background now is Chief Technology Officer at Tedial leading the transition over the last years to meet the new Challenges in the market with the adoption of the latest technologies in the Tedial Products, Solutions and Services and the enterprise transformation to DevOps.

Jiri Gabriel, chief operating officer at MISTV, company providing fully integrated Software Solutions for TV Broadcasters and Advertising Sales have more than 15 years of experience in Broadcasting business on multiple technical and leading positions. Starting his career as a SW consultant and developer, quicky proceeding to leading position of project manager and later acting as a project and sales director, he is having a unique combination of technical, communication and leading skills.

This combination allows him to approach even the most complex situations the TV market can offer from multiple points of view helping him to identify and to understand critical points of challenges to successfully overcome them.

As a chief operating officer, he is responsible not only for all aspects of the MISTV daily operations as well as to accurately and efficiently organize all these activities and operations to support the company’s business strategy, but also for participation on the company’s major strategic and sales decisions.

Hasan R. Sayed Hasan is an award-winning broadcast media executive with significant experience in the Media Production & Broadcasting industry. He is Managing Director of Master Media, a consultancy firm established in 2012 and delivering a varied portfolio of Services in the media domain. Master Media’s clients include government broadcasters and media entities, media cities, commercial broadcasters, and international broadcast manufacturers.

Hasan is also Chairman of the “Arab HDTV and Beyond Group”. Hasan has been working in the broadcasting industry since 1992, holding senior positions within various broadcasting networks and media organisations in the MENA region.

Before establishing Master Media, Hasan was Head of Media Technology at twofour54°, the commercial arm of the Media Zone Authority- Abu Dhabi. He served earlier as CTO of CNBC Arabiya, and was responsible of setting up CNBC Africa in Johannesburg and Samaa TV in Pakistani. Hasan was a key founder of Al-Rai TV, the first private TV broadcaster launched in Kuwait in 2004.

Hasan started his career in Lebanon where he was Advisor to the Chairman at the National Broadcasting Network and held senior positions at New TV and Arab Radio & Television. Hasan holds a degree in Computer and Communications Engineering from the American University of Beirut.

Jean-Christophe Perier “JC” leads strategic partnerships, product, solution and services portofolio and is responsible for steering the marketing and external communications strategies worldwide for Globecast. JC brings extensive experience across broadcast, cloud, IPTV and OTT services, having held sales, marketing, strategy and executive management positions at STMicro, GTS, Technicolor and SoftAtHome.

He also co-founded and managed Veygo, developing OTT and multiscreen solutions with Operators and vMVPDs customers in Asia and the Americas. JC holds a Msc in computer and information sciences from Arts et Métiers ParisTech – École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers and an International B2B Marketing Certificate from Yonsei Graduate School of Business.

Thomas Nelson is a seasoned professional in the media tech industry, currently serving as the Global Vice President of Key Accounts at Vizrt in New York. In his elevated role, Thomas spearheads the expansion of Vizrt’s presence in the Americas market, overseeing key accounts and driving business development initiatives.

With an impressive career spanning over two decades in media tech, Thomas brings a wealth of experience to his position, with a significant portion of his journey spent at Vizrt. He commenced his career in sports production at TV 2 Norway before transitioning to Vizrt Australia in 2008. Since then, he has held various senior leadership roles across Asia Pacific and Europe, culminating in his recent advancement to lead the AMECS operations.

Throughout his tenure, Thomas has demonstrated a keen understanding of the media tech landscape, coupled with specialized technical expertise and robust business acumen. His leadership has been instrumental in driving international account teams to success, leveraging his profound knowledge of the Vizrt ecosystem and the broader industry landscape to deliver exceptional value, efficiency, and business growth.

Alain has 30 years’ industry experience and has held senior international sales and business development positions at companies like Red Bee Media / Ericsson, Rohde & Schwarz DVS, Ascent Media, Pinnacle Systems and Thomson. He is connected globally to a major part of the eco system ranging from content providers, broadcasters, operators, VOD services, technology vendors, production and post production companies as well as systems integrators.
